What program runs across Canada every summer that:
  • is free of charge
  • is lots of fun and
  • keeps your children engaged in reading, so that they return to school in the fall – ready to learn?
  • Has  materials that children are given – like passports and activity books that they can use all summer long?  And stickers for reading that unlock more content on the website?
What club has a great website with:
  • ever-changing content
  • the chance to have their jokes added, write funny stories and more….

Families can look through the on-line manual and build on activities – growing their families chance to have fun and grow closer. There is content for preschoolers and elementary school children. Play inside and out, discovering the world – of insects, of transportation, of the night sky.

To see a list of participating libraries in Saskatchewan,  scroll to the bottom of the page and click on participating libraries at http://tdsummerreadingclub.ca/.

To see a  list of all available books from the TDSRC 2013, go to http://parklandlibrary.ca/programs/td-summer-reading-subject-list/.  If you click on the subject title, you can request this book from wherever you are in the province.

If you have never had a library card, the first one is free.  If you haven’t used one for a long time, the staff can replace it with one of the new cards that includes one for your key ring.

To find locations where the fun can be found, check the web-site or phone the library.
